QUOTES FOR FATHERSSo often we speak of mother being the center of the family, but often Father Knows Best, as is demonstrated by these quotes for fathers. Fathers have, well ... different challenges than mothers in a family environment. It's dangerous making generalities about mothers and fathers, but for one, I am personally very delighted that fathers seem more able to be openly loving and proud parents, and that society encourages them to be that.
Here are some of my favorite quotes for fathers. ***
Bye, bye bunting Without question, this is the greatest thing I've done in my life. When Dad can't get the diaper on straight, we
laugh at him as though he
were trying to walk around in high heel shoes. Do we ever assist him by
pointing out that all you have to do is lay out the diaper like a baseball
diamond, put the kid's butt on the pitcher's mount, bring home plate up, then
fasten the tapes at first and third base? Raising kids is part joy and part guerilla warfare. How often have we all wished we could join in a child's joyful spirit, as in this father quote: Children make you want to start life over. Any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad. And this quote for fathers from someone who knew a bit about wisdom: It is a wise father that knows his own child. Show me a man who has no fear, and I'll show you a man who's never changed
a diaper. The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their
mother. You don't have to deserve your mother's love. You have to deserve
your father's. He's more particular. This quote for a father speaks eloquently: I watched a small man with thick calluses on both hands work fifteen and
sixteen hours a day. I saw him once literally bleed from the bottoms o his
feet, a man who came here uneducated, alone, unable to speak the language, who
taught me all I needed to know about faith and hard work by the simple
eloquence of his example. My father taught me that the only way you can make good at anything is to
practice, and then practice some more. Back to top of Quotes for Fathers
