QUOTE FOR LIFE LOVE AND FRIENDS 

So often quotes come in multiple feelings, like a quote for life, love and friends.  Or just a quote for life and love.

These quotes are probably a reflection of our real emotions.  How often is there a "pure" anything -- a pure thought of life or love or friends, for instance.  No, all these impressions and feelings get mushed together.

And that's really nice.

Try a little experiment.  Close your eyes for just 30 seconds. ...  Ok, now open them and try to list every image that came to you in that 30 seconds.  I tried it, and a half hour later, I still hadn't finished my list.

So in our search for a quote on life, love and friends, we find many images, many thoughts.  Let's take a little excursion ...

First, let's look at some quotes that include all three: life, love and friends. One of the best known is probably from the remarkable movie "A Beautiful Mind":

Friends are in integral part of your life, but every friend you have must live life at their own pace.  

I am personally very fond of this one from the lyrical poet Anais Nin:

Throw your dreams into space and like a kite, and you do not know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country.

I think it was Ann Landers who said that "Love is not divided, it is multiplied", so I liked this quote too:

May your life be like arithmetic-joys added, sorrow subtracted, friends multiplied, love undivided.

I was surprised to find this quote from Angelina Jolie:

Love one person, take care of them until you die.  You know, raise kids.  Have a good life.  Be a good friend.

Many of us know, too, the charming story of "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White.  The whole tale is a quote of life, love and friends:

You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway? We're born, we live a little while, we die. A spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that.

Quotes on love and life are more common, such as this one from the philosopher Kahlil Gibran:

Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit.

... and from Gandhi

Where there is love there is life.

This Chinese proverb captures the duality of life very nicely:

When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other.

As for a quote to live, laugh and love, this is the best known:
