Retirement - is it the end or the beginining? As a younger person, I never thought I would ever want to "retire." I thought I would always want to work. But as the day draws rapidly nearer, I findÂ… I can't wait! Oh, I'll still be working quite a bit in one form or another—I'm doing it right now writing this website—but it will be MY work, on MY schedule, as much or as little as I want to do, working for myself. What a concept!

So how do you think about retirement—your own or that of a friend or family member? Here are some great inspirational retirement quotes to help you put that feeling into words.

Let's start with a few amusing definitions. (Some of these would make great scrapbooking quotes for retirement.)
