INSPIRATIONAL EDUCATION QUOTETeachers do so much talking that it seems like they should be the ones to offer an inspirational education quote -- not us. But, life being what it is, we're the ones doing the offering, and rightly so. It is the teachers themselves who prompt an inspirational quote or two. Do you remember your fourth grade teacher? I do. Miss Barbarella. Both my brother and I got drilled in multiplication tables by Miss Barbarella, and have lived to be glad for her gentle reign. Nothing got by Miss Barbarella -- thank goodness. In fact, I would wager that most of us could name at least half our teachers, especially those in high school. Many of them offered their own inspirational education quote as well. Teachers fill such an important niche in our lives. I am pleased to offer an inspirational education quote or two that might remind you of your favorite teacher or educational experience. *** But first, a school. The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into
windows. An investment in knowledge always pays the best
interest. He who opens a school door, closes a prison. Education is not filling a pail but the lighting of a
fire. The ink of the scholar is more sacred than the blood
of the martyr. I like to instruct
people. It is noble to tech oneself, but still nobler to teach
others -- and less trouble. *** More inspirational education quotes: INSPIRATIONAL TEACHING QUOTES -- especially for the teachers in our lives. Back to top of Inspirational Education Quote page
